HSW1002_A – First Aid, CPR & AED Training Program (2 Days)

OVERVIEW

This First Aid Management Course is one of Malaysia’s First in innovating way of learning by implementing not only the digital factor to the course, however, to ensure the learners fun better environment and fun whilst learning with the additional Gamification programme. The learners will also have a healthy friendly competition in which not only motivates the learners however has been proven by researchers such as, Jillene Grover Seiver, PhD, professor of psychology, says “you need a rival” , can increase productivity. In our course we play this by having the learners earn points to be able to earn rewards to ease their way to pass through the course, in which activates the Brain’s Reward Centre in their brain and produces a rush of dopamine (the feel-good hormone) in the hypothalamus, the pleasure centre of the brain.

Upon completion of this 2-days workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Take appropriate actions to prevent disease from blood and other body fluids.
  • Identify sign & symptom and provide early care for sudden illness such as heart attack, stroke, and shock.
  • Perform & define CPR using the DR-CAB mnemonic for adult, children & infant.
  • Perform Heimlich Maneuver to relives choking victim (adult, children & infant).
  • Describe the importance of an AED.
  • Recognize internal and external bleeding & describe how to care for internal and external bleeding.
  • Recognize and care for the several different types of wound such as eye injuries, impaled/embedded object, amputations, avulsions, and abdominal injuries.
  • Recognize for the cause (mechanism) of muscular skeletal injury and care for muscular skeletal victim.
  • Perform a patient assessment from head to toe.
  • Become a qualified first aider compliance to Occupational & Health Act 1994.
  • Typically spans 2 days (9am to 5pm).
  • Nonetheless, we can customize both the program’s duration and schedule to cater to unique client requirements (e.g., compact 1-day workshops or extended sessions beyond 3 days).
