ITD1006_A – Developing Agile Thinking (2 Days)

OVERVIEW

These are interesting times in the life of managers, leaders and employees. As our industrial age systems of organization are ending their life cycle, other systems are enabling the emergence of new forms of organization. In turn, this transition is driving a fundamental transformation in our methods of communication and working, one that goes beyond the traditional concepts designed for dealing with relatively static hierarchical organizations within relatively stable environments. As we progress in this direction, some jobs will disappear, others will grow and jobs that don’t even exist today will become commonplace. What is certain is that the future workforce will need to align its skill set to keep pace, and the workers of tomorrow need to navigate an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world. To that end, this program seeks to inculcate an obsession with having and practicing the Agile Mindset that will enable people and organizations to thrive amidst uncertainties.

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare for the impact of VUCA in today’s working landscape
  • List the differences between a fixed and agile mindset
  • Describe the key elements towards cultivating an agile mindset
  • Apply leadership skills that utilize the learning mindset
  • Contribute towards building an organizational culture that obsesses on agility as a key success principle
  • Typically spans 2 days (9am to 5pm).
  • Nonetheless, we can customize both the program’s duration and schedule to cater to unique client requirements (e.g., compact 1-day workshops or extended sessions beyond 3 days).
  • Leaders and Managers
  • HR and Learning & Development Professionals
  • Cross-Functional Teams
  • Project Managers
  • Senior Executives and Board Members
