LDR2002 – Leading with Impact

OVERVIEW

Achieving strong performance from people and organizations requires effective leadership and communication. As products, services, and work environments become increasingly complex, leaders must be able to inspire, motivate, and guide knowledge workers toward shared goals.

Great leaders are recognized for their clear vision, genuine care for their teams, passion for purpose, and consistent support for people development and performance. This program is designed for managers and supervisors who already have experience leading people and wish to further enhance their leadership effectiveness.

Focusing on real-life managerial challenges, this program emphasizes practical application in daily leadership situations. Through exercises, examples, and case studies, participants are encouraged to reflect on their attitudes, behaviours, and leadership approach. Proven techniques are introduced to improve communication, build trust, motivate teams, manage crises, and delegate effectively—placing strong emphasis on leadership-driven motivation throughout the course.

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand team aspirations and set goals that increase commitment and motivation
  • Apply a five-step planning technique to enhance brainstorming, problem-solving, and planning sessions
  • Improve speech and public speaking skills to communicate vision and ideas effectively
  • Analyze risks, develop contingency plans, and manage crises confidently
  • Enhance communication skills to provide effective feedback, reduce misunderstandings, and support employee development
