QPT1016 – 8D Problem Solving Methodology (2 Days)

OVERVIEW

The problem solving process is a logical sequence for solving problems and improving the quality of decisions. It is also a guide to identifying which tools and techniques to apply.

8-Discipline problem solving method is a well-accepted method to tackle issues encountered by an organization. This programme provides the underpinning knowledge and builds participants’ confidence to apply 8D at a working level enabling efficient resolution of problems and avoidance of future problems.

This course is suited for all personnel responsible for resolving customer’s quality related concerns.

At the end of the training, participants would be able to:

  • How to use the 8-Discipline process to work through and solve a problem in a team
  • Use problem-solving tools and techniques to collect and analyze data, make decisions and evaluate effectiveness of an implemented solution
  • Document team progress and solutions using forms and worksheets
  • Typically spans 2 days (9am to 5pm).
