OVERVIEW

The journey begins as teams dive into a dynamic program that promises not only excitement but also valuable skill development. The quest kicks off with a 15-minute session for teams to select a leader who will be the guiding force through the challenges that lie ahead. The heart of the experience unfolds during the extended 120-minute building phase, where teams will harness their collective creativity to construct a variety of thrilling elements from scratch. Picture the hall transformed with two mesmerizing flat rides, a whimsical carousel encircling the space, the exhilarating rush of five roller coasters, and the adrenaline pumping free fall of three drop towers. The program also includes the creation of a captivating entrance and a seamless exit, ensuring a complete and immersive theme park experience.

This unique program is designed to cultivate teamwork, communication, and leadership skills in a vibrant and unforgettable setting. Participants are guaranteed to depart with enduring memories and a reinforced sense of camaraderie, having successfully navigated the challenges of creating their own theme park.   • Collaborative Design and Construction Skills:
    Participants will collaboratively constructing diverse theme park elements from the ground up, including flat rides, a carousel, roller coasters, and drop towers. Through this hands-on experience, teams will develop and refine their abilities to work together efficiently, share ideas, and navigate the challenges of designing and building complex structures.
  • Leadership Development in a Dynamic Environment:
    Throughout the program, selected leaders will guide their teams through the challenges, making decisions, delegating tasks, and ensuring effective collaboration. This experience will contribute to participants’ understanding of effective leadership in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment.
  • Project Management and Creativity:
    Teams will gain practical experience in project management by creating a comprehensive theme park within a limited timeframe. The program encourages participants to think creatively as they design and build various elements, fostering innovation and problem-solving skills. Participants will leave with a heightened ability to manage complex projects, balance competing priorities, and unleash their creative potential.

WHEN? AGENDA DESCRIPTION LEARNING OUTCOMES IN RELATION TO P.L.A.Y.S
14 days before the session Mission completion by group Participants are required to install an application on their mobile phone and complete the missions within the application. This challenge fosters stronger connections among employees by encouraging shared experiences and personal reflections.

  • At least 10 team members share where are you playing the game from (the city and country)
  • At least 5 team members share a favorite inspirational or motivational quote and briefly explain
  • At least 10 team members Share a photo of your favorite spot in the Danone office that resonates with you
  • At least 3 team members write and share a short appreciation note for a colleague, pass it to the colleague, and both of you take a picture together
  • At least 5 team members share how you demonstrated HOPE at work
  • Put Danone first
    The activities/sharing illustrates how sharing tools, locations, stories, and talents aligns with the company’s commitment to collaboration, diversity, sustainability, and positive impact
  • Be Accountable
    Emphasize the shared accountability for accumulating points, underscoring the belief that success is a collective effort where everyone’s role matters, echoing Danone’s commitment to teamwork
On event day Mission completion by group As a continuation to, more missions will be available for the participants to collect points.

  • All team members are required to find the spots where the sample photo is taken and take a group wefie in front of the spots within the hotel compound
  • All team members are required to record a video of them saying WE PLAY TO WIN at the designated spots within the hotel compound

(These missions will be open from 8AM-5PM on the event day)

TIME AGENDA
1:30pm Arrival of Participants | Lunch
2:00pm – 2:10pm Introduction | Opening
Participants will take part in a quick energizer. A short introduction of the trainer will be given as well.
2:10pm – 2:30pm
  • Task briefing and selection of group lead.
    Participants will be informed their team missions. Participants will be choosing the leaders of the group. The leader will be the one who draws each group’s task missions.
  • Lead with People
    The dynamic environment in which leaders are selected reflects the challenges and uncertainties present in the business world. Leaders chosen in such an environment are expected to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, and foster a culture of resilience, mirroring the qualities needed to address the unpredictable nature of the corporate landscape.
  • Walk the Talk
    Once leaders are selected, their role in collaborative construction becomes crucial. Leaders who “Walk the Talk” not only articulate the company’s values but also exemplify them through their actions. They lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and integrity within the team. This not only enhances the team’s performance but also ensures that the stated values are not merely slogans, but guiding principles reflected in everyday behavior.
2:30pm – 3:50pm Building
Participants will be split into 4 different clusters to take on the mission. The 4 clusters are:

  • Entrance/Exit/Map + Mascot: The groups will be building entrance or exit or map AND one mascot.
  • Bumper Car: The groups will be building a human-size bumper car that can fit at least one person with materials provided
  • Bow and arrow: The groups will be building one bow & arrow set and one target board with materials provided
  • Roller Coaster: The groups will be building the track that allows the tennis ball to move across the track smoothly with materials provided.

Each cluster will contain different numbers of groups. The groups are only competing with the other groups who are in the same cluster with them.

  • Entrance/Exit/Map + Mascot (3 groups)
  • Bumper Car (2 groups)
  • Bow and arrow (2 groups)
  • Roller Coaster (3 groups)

All the clusters will be within one ballroom/multipurpose hall as if the hall itself is the theme park.

3:50pm – 4:05pm Evening Tea Break
4:05pm – 4:20pm
  • Presentation & Evaluation
    One trainer will be assigned to each cluster to evaluate the outcome. We are expecting 4 winners, 1 from each cluster. The total score will be a combination of:
    – The overall scoring from the missions in mobile application
    – The time taken to complete respective mission on event day
    – The outcome of the mission (different cluster has different evaluation point)
  • Put Danone First
    In presenting what’s built, participants will be showcasing how every element aligns with the overall theme and concept. Each element showcased should reflect overall theme, emphasizing the integration of corporate values into the tangible outcomes of the theme park- simulating the showcase of Danone’s values.
  • Be Accountable
    The presentation should also demonstrate how each participant’s role in constructing theme park elements contributes to the overall success of the team. The presentation will reinforce the idea that accountability is a shared responsibility, and everyone plays a crucial part in achieving common goals.
4:20pm – 5:00pm Winners announcement, debriefing & wrapping up
The result of the teambuilding will be announced. The winning groups will be receiving their prize. The master trainer will be doing a debrief for the participants by linking different activities to PLAYS.
